How Valuation changes after Alibaba's split?

Alibaba As a WholeBecause of the complicated business, large companies often consider the overall indicators of the company in valuation, such as profit (P/E, EV/EBITDA), income (market-to-Sales ratio, EV/Sales) and cash flow (P/FCF, DCF discounted sustainable cash flow). The advantage is intuitive, simple and can be compared horizontally; The disadvantage is that it is difficult to maximize the valuation potential of each business. For Alibaba, the latest dynamic P/E is 15 times. But the average ttm P/E since listing is 44.2x, Even since July 2021, it has an averag of 17.2 times. The current valuation is lower than the historical average, that is, "Undervalued".2024 adjusted EPS is 60.5 yuan(market consensus), That is, the valuation in 2024 should be US $154 per share, equals US $130.6 per

Why Pinduoduo Win that much in Q2? Compare with BABA & JD

$Pinduoduo Inc.(PDD)$ released Q2 earnings before market open on August 29th. Unlike many investors' first impressions of a disaster Q2, Pinduoduo not only beats in revenue, but also recorded the highest profit in history, especially when e-commerce giants $Alibaba(BABA)$ and$JD.com(JD)$ were suffering. The market also unceremoniously gave an intraday increase of up to 20%, closing with a 14.7% surge. Since Pinduoduo in $NASDAQ 100(NDX)$ it

I do not feel that it is an opportunity to buy baba in the US market as there is this risk of being delisted. and there are some Chinese stocks that have been delisted before from the US market

I still believe that BABA has great potential to outperform the market. It has solid track record of earning power, big China and southeast market, expanded cloud business. It is good time to buy now while it dipped.

$Alibaba(09988)$in the HK market will perform better in my opinion, investors will be more serious in investing in Alibaba, have holding power and trust, in the US too many speculation, news, shorting, it is like $Berkshire Hathaway(BRK.A)$and $Berkshire Hathaway(BRK.B)$the one hold BRK.A is valuable partern of WB while retail investors still can have access to BRK.B if they want to. Wish BABA the best 👍

Small position only. Who knows US will attack china in the future [Happy]
$Alibaba(09988)$I have my utmost respect for Ray Dalio for his wisdom and knowledge. However his decision to sell Alibaba doesn't deviate or influence my own research and conviction on Alibaba. When one invest in a stock, it would be useful to write down his/her own reasons (at least 3) for investing into that business. The same apply to exiting an investment. If there is no fundamental change in the business, there is no reason to exit the business unless you need to raise cash to redeploy them into another equally great business that you like. I believe many had given up on chinese stocks not because of fundamental but rather due to political concerns influencing their bottomline. This reason sounds valid however if I'm

Do I think it's an opportunity to buy $Alibaba(09988)$ or $Alibaba(BABA)$?$Alibaba(BABA)$ maybe not as I heard news that it may get delisted [Thinking] .For $Alibaba(09988)$maybe can considered if it hits a new low [Sly] By the way, I don't really invest in any Chinese stock company market for now... it's kinda complicated so...[Observation] Or it will continue to fall?I think maybe will as the economy does not look that good [Thinking] .But, who knows [Helpless] +[Sly] .@Tiger_chatDYODD before invest

$Alibaba(09988)$‌Stock does not care about feeling, if you feel ali is a good stock but the market does not think so, it will drop like a rock and your heart sink. But...butm if you see the number in Ali and the market in China after the pandemic is over, you would see the profit or Ali will come back and the PE will be lower and the price will goes up again ... but but it will goes up before the pandemic is expected to over but not at the actual timing for stock is a leading indicatior. therefore, if you buy the dip now, you will reap rewards later but it all depends on your risk level .. the worst is your risk level is low and you trade on emotion which is almost a formula for you kown what .... Buy the dip while you can and your risk level allow

For investors looking to play China growth story and Alibaba recovery, $Alibaba(09988)$listed in Hong Kong a better alternative for risk mitigation compared to $Alibaba(BABA)$listed on NYSE, given the heightened tensions between US and China.China may concede to certain requests by SEC, I doubt she will allow her Chinese companies traded in US to open their books fully for audit to the extent that SEC demands. However, if a delisting does becomes imminent, I doubt $Alibaba(09988)$stock price will be spared too, as it is almost certain to tumble under the immense selling pressure from its overseas listin

$Alibaba(BABA)$There's a rumor that Bridgewater sold BABA but bought the HK stock. So what should we do?Trader mentalityThe trader will buy the rumor and sell the news. For those who are keen to follow announcements quickly, BABA in HK seems like a good buy. The GF value is $369 for the US stock implying that it might be worth the gamble. Aside, it is unlikely to be a manipulator based on the beneish M-score. BABA is also at a 5 year low in price and 10 year low for both PB and PS.Investor mentalityBABA has a ROIC < WACC plus declining GPM and operating margin. It is also heavily regulated and unlikely to have much upsides given the disruptions in China due to the zero COVID policy, and thus restricting growth. The oth
